Our on-set chaperone services provide tailored support for working with children, young people and vulnerable adult actors who have entered the industry through non-traditional routes such as street casting & alternative pathways.
Chaperone Plus+ offers bespoke behavioural and support strategy developed by WAB directors drawing on extensive experience in youth work, drama training and street casting.
Our Chaperone Plus+ package includes:
- Introductory visit to meet cast and production team. 
- Remote line management & Coordination of all your productions chaperone needs. 
- Licensed Chaperones on-set at all times performing licensing requirement duties as per BECTU guidelines 
- Weekly check-in meetings between on-set chaperone team with WAB directors for guidance, safeguarding escalation support and development of behaviour and support strategy. 
- Experienced Lead Chaperone who has worked on several street cast/first time acting productions. 
- Collaborative working practice with the director, writer, producer, acting coach, crew and production stakeholders. 
- Support and guidance for the production team and creative team for working with newcomer talent. 
- Family Liaison Support to support family engagement and any queries or understanding of the production process. 
- Mentoring and Career development - signposting and bridging to other opportunities, in preparation for transitioning into the Sustain Aftercare programme. 
- Consistent wellbeing and pastoral support to help the cast with navigating the bewildering first time acting experience and the wrap process. 
- Guided by WAB principles and values around positive behaviour management and ‘the relationship is the intervention.’ 
- On-call support for Chaperone Plus+ Team from Bridge Directors (between 07.00am - 22.00pm)
