Safeguarding Awareness for TV & Film Productions

Duration: 4hrs | in-person (Production Base) or Online

Aimed to equip key senior members of production and HOD’s on Safeguarding practices whilst on set ahead of shooting. This training offers an understanding to Safeguarding children & adults working within the creative industry.

The training is designed to build learners' knowledge to enhance their Safeguarding practice. It will cover foundational teaching on the principles necessary to protect the health, wellbeing and human rights of vulnerable individuals.

Advanced Screen Industry Safeguarding (FAA accredited)

Duration: TBC | in-person (London only) or Online | Starts Early 2026

This FAA accredited course will equip attendees with actionable knowledge regarding Safeguarding legislation and guidance; roles and responsibilities; abuse and neglect; identifying concerns and disclosure; making judgements; reporting concerns. Designed for freelancers, individuals and organisations operating in the creative industry who work with children and adult talent.

The course covers bespoke guidance related to the Film, TV & Creative Industries; resources and case studies tailored to your organisations needs; and realities with practical skills on receiving disclosures, reporting and responding to them.

First Aid Awards (FAA) are regulated by Ofqual and SQA Accreditation and our qualifications sit on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF)
